Welcome to Nambour State High School

I feel incredibly proud of our school which is easily the best on the Sunshine Coast. Our Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Treasurer Wayne Swan are two of many proud graduates from our school. Our list of successes and the fine traditions we stand for are second to none.

Our school offers the best education for the full range of students. We provide the widest program range catering for academic, vocational, farming, sporting and cultural pursuits. We have specific programs targeting gifted and talented students, learning support students and special education students. In 2008, we have introduced a new and innovative program called "Pinnacle" It has been designed to group academically and motivated students together. This is an application based program where year 7 students can apply after June each year. NSHS also offers 4, $500 scholarships each year to year 7 students in the areas of academic, cultural, leadership and sporting.
