In Year 11 & 12 in the Senior School a full range of subjects in 13 Queensland Studies Authority areas have been offered. These subjects include QSA subjects, QSA registered subjects and stand alone VET subjects. In addition School based apprenticeships and traineeships are very important in supplementing the curriculum with well over 100 students involved each year. Year 12 students are involved in link programs with universities - particularly the Headstart Program with USC from which they are guaranteed university positions if they pass subjects while in Year 12.
Year 10 is seen as a preparatory year for Year 11 & 12. Year 10 is part of the senior school. Year 10 subjects are designed as connecting subjects with those of similar name in Year 11 and 12.
Our Middle School (years 8 &9) curriculum is based around the QCAR Essential Learnings. Students in the middle school will study the core subjects of English, SOSE, Science and Mathematics. Students when enrolling in the middle school will have the opportunity to select their ARTS subject (Music, Art or Drama), their Technology subject (INTAD, Agricultural Studies, Business Education or Home Economics), the Language subject (Italian or Japanese) and a sport subject (Volleyball, Tennis, Rugby League or general sports studies).
Additional information about individual courses can be found in the the studies handbook or by contacting the relevant Head of Department.
